My name is Carolina, I have been in the States for about 25 years,  I am originally from Chile but have lived many years in the Canary Islands of Spain, where I met my husband. I had never made any crafts before in my life. I was a big city girl.  Now I live in Maine, in the Lake Region. We have a waterfront home on a huge Pond, Panther Pond. It took me a while to adapt to the culture change, especially living in the country. But now I wouldn't change my life for anything in the world. I have been blessed with my 3 boys, my husband, and his family.    

 My husband George is a wonderful man that always has been very supportive of what I do. I have 3 Boys, Christian, 29, Bryant, 23 and Andrew, 14. They always have been very understanding and respectful of my work.

 I have been in business for many years, always in Country Home Decor and Maine gifts. I was in retail for several years, but now I am running my business from home, and I have to say that I am glad I made that decision.

It is not easy to run a family and try to build a business, especially in this economy. I work 24/7 between my work, family and running my house. I love what I do so it's not a problem for me. Also, the love and support of my family helps me to get through to the hard times.

I have worked very hard to learn the trades, I  never in my wildest dreams thought I would be making dolls, cottage decor or any of my crafts, but here I am and I love it. I went to college for Administration, took quilting, painting, home decor, classes, and many more, and I still love to learn new things, but I have to say this is an experience with trial and error. I definetly have learnd from my mistakes.

Also, I feel blessed that through my business I had the opportunity to give back to others. I always try to find ways to make sense of what I do, and having the ability to help others  give me great satisfaction which gives me a reason to continue my work. Also, being home with my family is priceless.

I think of my customers as my friends and I am ready to help them find what they are looking for so they can have the sense of a great shopping experience.
